Meet Our Esteemed Doctors
Dr. Eileen Lindmeier
Known for her generosity of spirit and her sincere commitment to providing the best, most compassionate veterinary treatment to all pets under her care, Dr. Eileen Lindmeier has built a loyal and faithful following during her 18-year tenure at the Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic. Finally fulfilling her dream of opening her own practice, Dr. Lindmeier looks forward to treating her patients in a comfortable, home-like setting—with access to state-of-the-art veterinary care.
A lifelong resident of Bucks County, Eileen graduated from nearby Delaware Valley College with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry in 1985 and went on to receive her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990.
Before joining the Doylestown Animal Medical Clinic in 1996, Eileen practiced at the Trevose Veterinary Center. Interested in every aspect of veterinary medicine, Eileen excels at helping clients with medically compromised pets understand, in very practical terms, how best to move forward in their treatment plans.
Married to Marty since 1990, Eileen has two amazing children, Patrick, and Laura. She spends her free time (or what's left of it) camping, boating, gardening, and cooking. She also shares her lovely home with a dog, a cat, and the memory of Miss Pony, two horses, and one very adorable donkey.
Dr. Diana Risel
Dr. Diana Risel obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Biochemistry, BA in Chemistry from Syracuse University. She was born in Germany and moved to the United States at 6 years of age, and has been a resident of Pennsylvania ever since.
Her passion has been animals and animal care since she was very young, and it was no surprise to anyone she would become a veterinarian. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and their families. She particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery, nutrition, and preventative care.
She lives in Bucks County with her partner, John, and her two cats, Laszlo and Nandor. Her hobbies include hiking, running, playing games (board /RPGs), brewing beer, playing music, and traveling.
